This license type allows you to use the artwork exclusively within your industry, such as greeting cards, women's apparel or homewares. However, I can license the same design to others in different industries, like puzzles or stationery. Custom adjustments to the artwork can be discussed but may involve a design fee. I, as the artist, retain full copyright to the artwork.

Total buyout license

Accepted Answer

This license type gives you full and exclusive rights to the artwork you purchase to use for whatever application you wish. No one else will be able to purchase the design, now or in the future. I, as the artist, retain full copyright to the artwork.

Question 4

Non-exclusive license

Accepted Answer

This license type permits you to use my artwork, but others can also license it simultaneously. The design remains available to others in my licensing portfolio. Minor changes to the artwork’s color palette can be discussed but may involve a design fee. I, as the artist, retain full copyright to the artwork.
