About larissa
The work of German-born artist Larissa Reinboth delivers insightful social commentary with her characteristic marriage of painterly finesse and bold, rapid mark-making.
Based in Melbourne and mother to a truly insatiable 2-year old, Larissa eats inspiration for breakfast and then has to wait until toddler bedtime to get pen to paper. When she does, she feels rewarded by exploring a range of topics in various analogue media from collage, pen and ink, printmaking, gouache and drawing.
Well-travelled and fluently trilingual, Larissa can draw on half a lifetime on the road, working and travelling to over 30 countries. This wealth of experience and richness of perspective continues to inform her views, her vision and her craft.
